Grant Opportunity History• Approached by DOL regarding “Career

Pathways Technical Assistance Initiative”

• Purpose: support the development of comprehensive career pathway programs for adult and dislocated workers in local areas

• 10 national grantees; TIC & GRIC are considered one grantee (split grant award for 2 Native teams).

• Definitions• Portable = the ability to take education/training credits with

you to another institution & have them count

• Stackable/chunk-able = each credit/unit stacks on top of another, building knowledge & education
