Failure to disclose outside awards and financial assistance you have already received or will receive for the upcoming academic year could resultin you receiving financial aid in excess of what NCAA rules permit and, thus, jeopardize your eligibility to c ompete in intercollegiate athletics. If it isdetermined you received in excess of what NCAA rules permit based on an undisclosed outside award, you will be required to reimburse Texas TechUniversity the amount you were over-awarded and you will not be eligible to compete until such payment has been made.
As a student-athlete, you are required to disclose all outside (non-university) awards and financial assistance (including pre-paid college tuitionplans) that you have already received or will receive for the upcoming academic year. For NCAA Compliance purposes, all such aid must be reviewedin order to determine if it will affect your individual eligibility and/or the grant-in-aid total for your sport.
