DAY 5 Train from Beijing to LhasaVisit the Summer Palace, with a relaxing boat ride onthe beautiful Kunming Lake. Stop for photos at theBirds Nest Stadium and Water Cube. Visit theHutongs, for a personal insight into the everyday life oftraditional Beijing citizens. Transfer to the station toboard the train for the pioneering and exciting railjourney to Lhasa.

DAY 6 Aboard the TrainEnjoy a day aboard the train, travelling along the highest railway line in the world, admiring magni�centlandscapes of mountain peaks, ice rivers, glaciers and desert. DAY 10 Lhasa to Gyantse and ShigatseMorning drive to Palcho Monastery in Gyantse.Continue towards Shigatse, the second largest city inTibet and visit the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, anextremely important monastery historically andculturally, it was founded in 1447 by the �rst DalaiLama. Continue to your accommodation for anovernight stay.
