Vinay Pathak

Nothing Like Lear is an interesting amalgamation of themes from Shakespeare’s King Lear, applied to a modern context and character. Through the play, the audience gets an insight into a wide range of emotions falling within the layers that come with happiness and sadness.

The main character (Vinay Pathak) describes personal and emotional incidents in his life which shape the viewpoint of his character.

Rakesh Bedi's latest play revolves around two people who did not mean to hurt each other, but eventually did. Preetam Kumar Chopra and Hema Roy were high-school sweethearts who ended up marrying other people. In the autumn of their lives, they meet again to discover the truth behind their separation - an act of destiny that forced them to live with incompatible life partners
