We are pleased to inform you that the town of Kovvur in West Godavari District for the Godavari Mahapushkarams 2015. It is estimated 1.00 crore devotee piligrims are preparing in all aspects likely to visit, bathe and perform rituals in the Pushkarghats of Kovvur.

It if relevant to note that Kovvur town has distinct advantage of broader river bed facilitating us to handle bigger crowds during the Puhskarsms. Kovvur Municipality has planned expansion works to accommodate the piligrim traffic with ease and comfort.

Taking the event as auspicious we would like to install a)Annamayya b) Purandar Das c) Tarigonda Vengamamba d) Thyagaraju e) Bhakta Ramadas and other Vaishnaya Vaggeyakarulu on the extension bund being proposed on the river bed at Kovvur. We have identified and allocated certain place for the same and are intended to develop and maintain a park alongside the idols.

We take the context to request you to construct a replica of the Lord Balaji temple at Kovvur to facilitate the pilgrims to avail the privilege of having Darshan of Lord Balaji. We have earmarked an vacant 4 acres land for the same.We request you to consider our proposals favorable and guide us through the proper channel to take the initiative to the next level.
