Girl Scouts Day Camps at TTC
Come and join the fun!! Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina is partnering with Trident Technical College to host amazing day camps. Each morning, you will learn Girl Scout traditions, songs, games, crafts and skills. After lunch, you will attend one of the great options from Trident Technical College that are listed below.
Trident Technical College Main Campus7000 Rivers Ave., Bldg. 910 • North Charleston, SC 29406Cost: $235 per non-registered Girl Scout; $205 for a registered Girl Scout. Lunch is provided by the Girl Scouts. Space is limited with a maximum of 20 campers accepted per TTC camp but no more then 40 campers per week.
JUNE 20-24, 2016 (Ages 7-11)• Girl Scout Camp (8 a.m.-noon)• Art and Soul Charleston Improv Theater Camp (1-4:30 p.m.)Enjoy a week of fun theater games, skits and improvisation with a touch of fun Shakespeare for youth included. Campers will also create their own show and perform it on Friday!• Amazing Artist (1-4:30 p.m.)Have a blast working with various art media and learn techniques to create your own original works of art. Class activities include painting, fundamentals of sketching, creating comic book characters, and optical illusion art. Family members are encouraged to attend the art showcase at the end of the week.
JULY 25-29, 2016 (Ages 12-17)• Girl Scout Camp (8:30 a.m.-noon)• A Touch of Shakespeare Improv Theater Camp (1-4:30 p.m.)Enjoy a week of fun and challenging improvisation games, skits and more! This is your chance to be a part of the entire works of Shakespeare in a one-hour skit. Campers will perform their own crazy show on Friday!• Conversational Spanish (1-4:30 p.m.)Hola! Español es divertido! Take a journey to the South of the Border and learn the basics of Spanish conversation, culture and cuisine. This week you will learn how to converse in Spanish with family and friends, describe yourself, popular greetings and numbers. As you learn the language, you will also delve into the Latino culture and cuisine.
