2O DELL’INCERTEZZA E DELL’EQUILIBRIOor on uncertainty and equilibrium
SIAMO LIBERI E CIVILI. IL PRIMO NUMERO PLURALE È APPARSO ALL’ORIZZONTE DELLA NOSTRA COSCIENZA E HA SPEZZATO LE CATENE CHE CI LEGAVANO ALLA DITTATURA DELL’UNO E ALLA MINACCIA MONOLITICA DELL’UNICA VIA, DELL’UNICA MANIERA.Il DUE è l’aperto, e in tale apertura comincia la partita. L’esito non è scontato e in questo risiede ogni bellezza, ogni rischio, ogni reale possibilità
di vita. IL DUE È IL MOVIMENTO E IL PASSAGGIO: PASSAGGIO DA UNO ALL’ALTRO E DI NUOVO A QUELL’UNO CHE NEL TORNARE SI È TRASFORMATO E NON È PIÙ LUI, E NESSUNO PUÒ SAPERE PRIMA COSA SIA ORA DIVENUTO.
IL DUE È L’ALTRO, NON COME TERMINE DI UN PROCESSO TESO A RICOSTRUIRE UNA NUOVA UNITÀ, MA COME UNA PROMESSA DI AVVENIRE NON ANCORA DECISO DA ALCUNO, dove il raggiungimento dell’altro è simbolo e stimolo per ulteriori e infinite conquiste, così come dal movimento che parte dal primo numero singolare e arriva al primo numero plurale, procede poi incessante l’insieme infinito dei numeri naturali, tutti plurali. Il DUE è la trasgressione dell’unica regola, continua apertura verso l’indeterminato, rottura delle cristallizzazioni e delle forme vuote, inesauribile ricchezza dei contenuti.Questa apertura avviene nel nome di Dioniso, il dio dell’ebbrezza e della primavera, il dio che eternamente muore e sempre rinasce, il dio dell’in-certezza e del divenire. Dioniso si guarda allo specchio e vede il mondo.
Nell’attimo in cui lo specchio duplica l’immagine del dio, IL MONDO APPARE: DAL DUE IL TUTTO.Non il tutto immobile ed eterno, ma l’eterno divenire, il sempre in movimento la cui figura è espressa dalla danza gioiosa degli amici.
E COSÌ DANZA IL NOSTRO SGUARDO DA UN’IMMAGINE ALL’ALTRA, DA UN SOGGETTO ALL’ALTRO, SENZA POSA, SENZA POTERSI ARRESTARE, LÀ DOVE L’INTERMINABILE GIUOCO DEI RIMANDI PUÒ CREARE INTERI MONDI, I NOSTRI MONDI, OGNUNO DIVERSO.
In questo giuoco dei rimandi e della creazione troviamo un’immagine dell’arte: l’arte è infatti creazione dello sconosciuto e lo sconosciuto è l’altro
da noi. Tutto questo grazie alla sola forza evocativa del DUE.
WE ARE FREE AND CIVIL. THE FIRST PLURAL NUMBER APPEARED AT THE EDGE OF OURCONSCIOUSNESS AND LIBERATED US FROM THE TYRANNY OF ONE AND FROM THE MONOLITHIC THREAT OF THE ONE AND ONLY WAY.TWO represents the open, the overture to the game whose outcome is not foregone and this is where lies the beauty, the risk, the real possibility of a life.
TWO IS MOVEMENT AND PASSAGE: THE PASSAGE FROM THE ONE TO THE OTHER AND AGAIN BACK TO THE ONE WHICH, TRANSFORMED IN THE PROCESS, IS NOT ITSELF ANYMORE, ANDNO-ONE KNOWS FOR CERTAIN WHAT IT HAS BE-COME.
TWO IS THE OTHER ONE; NOT AS THECONCLUSION TO A PROCESS INTENT ONRECREATING A NEW UNITY, BUT AS THEPROMISE OF A FUTURE NOT YET DECIDED BY AN-YONE, where the union with the other is a symbol and stimulus for further and infinite conquests; thus similarly to the movement that goes from the first singular number to reach
the first plural number, the infinite whole of natural numbers - all plural numbers - ensues unceasingly. TWO is the transgression of the only rule, the endless opening towards the indefinite; the inexhaustible richness of its contents shattering crystallizations and void forms. This opening occurs in the name of Dionysus, god of inebriation and spring, the god who eternally dies and is always reborn, the god of uncertainty and change. Dionysus looks at himself in the mirror and sees the world. As soon as the mirror reflects the image of the god,THE WORLD APPEARS:TWO CREATES THE WHOLE.Not the eternal and immovable whole, but eternal change, forever in motion, whose cha-racter is expressed in the joyous dance of friends.
SO OUR GLANCE DANCES FROM ONE IMAGE TO THE OTHER, FROM ONE SUBJECT TO THE OTHER, WITHOUT PAUSE, UNABLE TO STOP, THERE, WHERE THESE NEVER ENDING REBOUN-DS CAN CREATE WHOLE WORLDS, OUR WORLDS, AND EACH ONE DIFFERENT.
Out of this game of bounces and creation surges an image of art: art being actually the act of creating the unknown, and the unknown being the other us.All this owing to the evocative strength of TWO.

Il due è il movimento e il passaggio da uno all’altro e di nuovo a quell’uno che nel tornare si è trasformato e non è più lui e nessuno può sapere prima cosa sia ora divenuto.
Il nostro sguardo danza da un’immagine all’altra, da un soggetto all’altro, senza posa, senza potersi arrestare, là dove l’interminabile giuoco dei rimandi può creare interi mondi.
