Find your course
The selections on the first screen of the on-line form will help you find the right course:
The University offers a large number of courses. To help you find the right one you should select the campus, subject level and attendance type from the lists provided. You can also search for a word in the course title.
If you have already started and saved an on-line application for a course you still need to select the course again before continuing with your application.
Fields that have an arrow on the right will give you a list of responses from which to select.
Campus - Where do you wish to study? Courses are offered in Carmarthen, Lampeter or London. The courses available at your selected location will be listed. If you would like to see a list of courses offered at all locations then do not select a campus.
Level – Your options are Postgraduate Research, Postgraduate Taught and Undergraduate.
QUALIFICATION LEVELS EXPLAINED
The level of study aligns with the Credit and Qualification Framework for Wales (CQFW), the
framework for HE qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (FHEQ) and the Standards
and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
Postgraduate courses are those leading to higher degrees, diplomas and certificates which usually
require a first degree as an entry qualification:
Postgraduate research programmes at University of Wales Trinity Saint David include doctorate and
masters degrees studied primarily through research.
Postgraduate taught programmes at University of Wales Trinity Saint David include masters degrees
(e.g. MA / MBA degrees) and postgraduate diplomas or certificates not studied primarily through
research, but taught either on campus or at a distance.

QUALIFICATION LEVELS EXPLAINED continued
Undergraduate courses are programmes of study such as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of
Science (BSc), Graduate Certificate (GCert), Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE), Certificate of
Higher Education (CertHE), Foundation courses at higher education level and professional
qualifications. Entrants would normally need to demonstrate that they have studied A-levels or
courses at the equivalent level OR have gained relevant experience in a related discipline. For further
information, see the Admissions Policy of the University.
Attendance – Select your mode of attendance from the list. Your options are full-time or part-time.
If you are an overseas applicant who will be studying on a Tier 4 visa, you will need to study on a full-time basis.
Search for a word in the Course Title - To limit the number of courses displayed, you can enter a word that appears in your course title. You will then be shown only the courses which contain your chosen word and also the different start dates available for those courses. For example, if you enter ‘Marketing’, the ‘MBA in Marketing’ may be listed twice, giving the next two available start dates. If you are unsure about which course you wish to study, leave this field blank.
Depending on your selections to the above questions, the courses available to you are now displayed. Check the different Start Dates in the last column and select a course. You will then be taken to the next screen.
