SUGGESTIONSFORINTERVIEWATTIRE

Thoughts and Suggestions1. A “driving” tour of Mobile may provide first hand infmation to usein e interview. 2. A visit to Mobile’s Welcome Center, Ft Conde, wiprovide valuable infmation. There are a lot of ochures ere on epoints of interest in Mobile.3. An appropriate dress f an interview wi most likely NOT be foundin e juni department. A good interview suit is a wy investmentsince you wi likely have several interviews in e future in which youcould also wear it.4. Typicay a photographer wi take e best picture of you. Again,a photographer would be a wy investment since you can use itagain and again roughout your seni year and wi oerapplications to coege, club/ganization, scholarships, sities, etc.5. Some ink you should wear e same col in your picture as ecol dress you would like to have if chosen. Oers ink you should

wear whatever you are going to wear in e interview to make a memable impression. Thechoice is yours!

6. You should read current events daily! Also, watch e local and national news. It is easiest fsome people to watch e news in e mning as ey are getting dressed. The 5:30 p.m. nationalnews should give you enough infmation on e nationalscene…..you do not have to watch CNN/MSNBC/Fox News.www.dailybeast.com (also an app), www.eskimm.com (emaillist and app), www.yeowhammernews.com

7. Instagram and Facebook are great resources foow MaySandy Stimpson, Mobile Rundown, Favite Restaurants, FtColonial of Mobile, LODA, Mobile Museum, etc.

8. Fm a study group wi e oer girls trying out. Having astudy group aows you to review e material, plan group outings

to places and events around Mobile, and make new friends!

Please fl fr to s Mrs. Crane if you have questions nd anyhelp. Mrs. Crane is a past Azalea Trail adviser at Murphy HighSchool (6 years) and Citronee High School (5 years), a past ATM school representative, an ATMmom, and a consultant f girls a over e county f interviews f e Mobile Azalea Trail Maidsand Mobile County Distinguished Young Women f over 22 years..
