CARAIVA | BRAZIL

Located in the region Bahia, Caraiva is about as off the beaten path as it gets. This truly magical destination only recently received electricity and requires a 5 hour drive on a dirt road, followed by a canoe ride across a

river, in order to arrive.

Once you set foot on the sand, take your shoes off on don’t put them back on until you leave (if that ever happens). Caraiva is filled with charm, rustic

hideaways, delicious restaurants, lively bars, and most importantly beautiful beaches and mangroves to be explored. If you’re looking to unwind, this is

the spot! Stay at Pousada Lagoa for an extra special experience.

HAVANA | CUBA

The intrigue of Cuba is undeniable, and rightfully so. Havana, the capital

city, is one of the most charming, fascinating cities we’ve ever visited. Honestly, it’s impossible to describe the emotions evoked during a stroll

through the old city. A country filled with so much life, yet strangely disconnected from the modern world.

For us, Havana rivals the beauty of Paris, but within a distinctly different era. If you’re feeling adventurous, rent a car in Havana and explore other parts of the island, including Viñales, Cienfuegos, and Trinidad. Be wary that due to limitations, the food in Cuba can be surprisingly disappointing. But that just

makes the mojitos even better.

MATERA | ITALY

Looking for a change from the typical trips to the Almafi Coast, Tuscany,

Rome, etc. Head to the southeastern part of Italy to the ancient cave dwellings of Matera! In this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site, stay in a

hotel in the caves for an authentic experience.

Matera is a small village but it’s easy to get lost exploring the many winding passages and hills. Wander around to find a bite to eat, and no matter

where you land, you won’t be disappointed by the quality of some of the best cuisine in Italy.

TEL AVIV | ISRAEL

What’s not to love about Tel Aviv - beautiful weather year-round, tons of

culture and life, amazing beaches, day trips galore. Stay in Neve Tzedek for a more authentic experience and be sure to check out Dallal for the best

shakshuka of your life.

Also check out Mizlala by Meir Adoni and Shulchan for incredible dining experiences. Don’t forget to visit Israel’s Holocaust museum, Yad Vashem,

which offers a powerful perspective on the tragedy. Use Tel Aviv as a starting point to explore the rest of Israel. The size of the country makes it

very manageable and each region is distinctly different.

SANTORINI | GREECE

Anyone who’s been knows the Greek Islands are probably the most

beautiful place in the world. The food, the views, the hospitality - all perfect. Rent ATVs and explore the island’s many beaches, including black and pink

sand beaches.

No trip to Santorini would be complete without a cliff jumping experience followed by a perfect massage in a cave with a view. Head north to Oia for the famous village of blue and white buildings and a sunset you won’t soon

forget.

PATAGONIA

Does it get better than Patagonia? No, it does not. Whether you explore the

Chilean Torres Del Paine (stay at Explora), or head to Argentina’s Calafate (stay at Eolo), Patagonia is one of those otherworldly destinations that truly captures the

hearts of travelers.

Horseback riding, trekking, glaciers, mountain climbing, and pristine untouched beauty all make Patagonia special. Visit between February and April to avoid the

crowds, and be prepared for rapid changes in weather.

TANZANIA

We wanted to pick a specific location, but if you’re heading to East Africa, you really have to set aside time to visit multiple parts of the country. Safari in the

Serengeti is the number one activity, but not to be overlooked are chimpanzee tracking in the extremely remote Rubondo Island, climbing the highest mountain

in Africa (Mt. Kilimanjaro), and soaking in the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.

Check out Pemba Island for a more secluded beach retreat complete with kitesurfing and diving. And on safari, be prepared to see all of the big 5

(elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard) plus cheetahs and more.

MALDONADO | URUGUAY

Often considered the Hamptons of South America, the Atlantic coast in Uruguay has a special, laid-back vibe hard to find elsewhere. Looking for a lively vacation? Stay in La Barra at Casa Zinc for an intimate experience. Be sure to visit Elmo for dinner and

a pool day at Fasano Las Piedras.

Looking for something more relaxed? Jose Ignacio is a tiny village with a lighthouse and world renowned hotels and restaurants. La Huella is consistently touted as the

best beach restaurant in the world, and for good reason. Stay at Posado del Faro or Playa Vik and enjoy delicious asados (Argentinean barbecue), clerico (Uruguayan

sangria), and the most epic sunsets we’ve ever seen.
