Get ready to take a step along our new SPIRITUAL GROWTH PATHWAY
Each year during our fall 40 Days Journey we come back together after summer to share a powerful experience of spiritual growth and to focus on our purpose and mission as individuals and as a congregation We launched this important Calvary tradition 10 years ago with the powerful 40 Days of Purpose Now a decade later there is not a week that goes by that someone does not mention to me how that journey or one of those we have taken since has changed their life and brought them closer to Jesus Walk the Talk in which we will explore together Calvarys new Spiritual Growth Pathway will be our 10th Annual 40 Days journey together Through powerful worship celebrations and high-impact messages Growth Group experiences Bible memory verses a prayer emphasis intentional focus on hospitality and a congregation-wide mission service day on November 11 we will each have an opportunity to come as we really are to learn and grow This year the Growth Groups will not all be the same This will encourage each of us to assess where we are today on the Spiritual Growth Pathway and uniquely experience taking a step that will help us to grow spiritually So you will notice that we are offering a variety of groups classes and other experiences geared to help us walk the various steps along The Pathway As a reminder the 4 Pathway steps are Enter Engage Equip and Extend I know that you want to grow spiritually to walk closer with Jesus and to live out your God-given purpose fully so
I encourage and challenge you to not just think about it or talk about it

Dear Calvary friends Your prayers and concern have sustained me through my trials over the recent months I have been hospitalized several times and been in physical and occupational therapy at the hospital and a residential rehabilitation center Irsquove had several fingers amputated a systemic infection and a Multiple Sclerosis episode which has led to my inability to walk With therapy determina-tion and Godrsquos fortitude I hope and pray that I will be able to walk again I also hope to regain use of my hands and to retrain my remaining fin-gers I say lsquoI hopersquo but use the term loosely My prayers have turned from lsquohopingrsquo that God will change my situation to imploring Him to grant me the grace faith and endurance to accept my situation as is I strive to find God in unexpected ways and places and to serve him whenever
however and wherever He leads Yoursquove been faithful in visiting me sending notes of love and support to Jeff and me and providing gifts of food meals and snacks This has been a blessing to us as you have generously shared Godrsquos love with us Thank you Presently Irsquom home and enjoying Godrsquos creation in the change of season and of course celebrat-ing our beautiful new-born twin grand daughters Verona and Norah now 2 months old and flour-ishing I pray that Irsquoll be able to be among you again soon I miss you and being among the fellow-ship of all believers You are very dear to me and I thank God for your continued care and con-cern for my family and me In Christian love Gayle Buschur
