Our congregat ion’s Creating Space initiative stands as a reminder that we need to submit to God so that He can work powerfully in our lives. The way the Young Adults Ministry is striving to Go, Connect, and Embrace – the three missional movements of the Creating Space initative – has taken on many forms.
Many in the Pathfinders class are planning to GO to Haiti again in 2014. Some in the Seekers class plan to GO on a mission trip to Utah in 2014. The Christmas Wish program, a ministry developed to CONNECT with the community, facilitated by the Pathfinders, is just around the corner. And, through fellowship activities, building relationships with visitors, and participating in the greeting ministry, the young adults are striving to EMBRACE others.
The Young Adults Ministry is a group of people bent on following in the footsteps of Jesus. We pray, worship, serve, and share life together. We consist of three Bible classes: Seekers (22-25, married and single), Pathfinders (26-34, married and single), LIGHT (around 22-30, primarily married couples). You can find out more about the Young Adults Ministry by contacting me ([email protected] or 341-3353). Also, you can connect with the Seekers and Pathfinders on Facebook and/or Twitter: @EdmondSeekers and @PathfindersECC.
