'The man living in the Borsod village barely finished primary school. He even had to retake the seventh class. He did not continue his studies; from then on his career is like the others': he was employed in an iron foundry, doing hard manual labour, and although his salary was good he could not get used to the worker's hostel, so he quit. He went back to his village, and commuted from there. He found a job as an unskilled labourer in a machine factory, where several of his relatives also worked. When they started cutting down on the work-force, he was one of the first to be dismissed. When we met he had been unemployed for a month, with no prospect of finding a job. Sometimes he does day labour to support his six underage children. He does not even have a chance to do this often, as he was once accused of theft by the villagers.'

Its unique estate-structure was put down in the union of Kápolna. While the structure of the Transylvanian Hungarian counties was the same as the structure of counties in Hungary, that is landlords, serfs and citizens living in cities, the majority of the Szekler population still preserved its collective nobility, and its administrative units were the sees. 20. This task is about Hungary's participation in the Second World War. (long) Describe the circumstances of Hungary' entry into the war. Outline the characteristics of the revisionist policy, and the circumstances and consequences of the territorial gains. Explain what factors and theories played a role in the attack on the Soviet Union. Use the appropriate map in the Historical Atlas.

'When they returned the southern part of the Uplands, Sub-Carpathia and Northern Transylvania, this made people happy. They hoped the country would be great again [...] But by then warning signs had appeared [...] Inspite of the sacrifices, in the end, Horty's hopes were reinforced. [...].
