Central Heating Boiler
Thank you for the opportunity to provide proposals and costs to
replace the centralheating boiler at your pub. Following our recent
visit and discussions, I am nowpleased to present our proposals and
trust we have interpreted your requirementscorrectly.
The quotation, which should be read in conjunction with the
appended ProjectSpecification and Conditions, is open for thirty
days.
High Efficiency Condensing Combi Boiler, Etc. 2,116 plus vat
A major benefit is that gas consumption will be reduced
significantly with theinstallation of the new boiler.
If you wish to proceed with the project, please sign and return
the enclosedNotification of Acceptance along with a deposit of 50%
of the value of the project.

2: Project Specification
BoilerDuring normal working hours, the old boiler would be
disconnected and removedalong with the flue. In place of the old
boiler, we would supply and install 1-offWorcester Greenstar Junior
24i wall mounted very high efficiency condensing boilerwith an
output of approx. 24 kW.
FlueAs discussed, the new boiler flue would follow a similar
route to the existing flue.However, because of the restrictions of
fitting any condensing boiler, the holes in thewall will be in a
slightly different location. We have not included
forrepairing/replacing tiles. You should note that this is high
efficiency condensingboiler and, as such, there will be a plume of
water vapour from the flue. It isassumed this will be acceptable in
this location.
Gas Pipework
We have assumed that the existing gas pipework is in good order.
This would bealtered to connect to the new boiler.
Heating PipeworkPipework would be altered to accommodate the new
boiler. We would utilise theexisting drain for disposal of
condensate.
ControlsWe have included for a new 7-day time clock to allow
different settings for differentdays. The existing time clock does
not have this facility. We have not included forany electrical
cross-bonding of the incoming gas supply that may me required
(seeConditions).
Warranty:All workmanship and new materials would be guaranteed
for a period of one yearfrom the date of commissioning as set out
in our Conditions. The boiler manufactureprovides a further
(second) years warranty subject to conditions.
Please note that the work proposed is limited to that specified
above and thatno liability can be taken for any defects or
deficiencies within the existingequipment. Should any such defects
come to light in the course of our works,these would be pointed out
and, if appropriate, a quotation provided forrectification.
Exclusions:We have not included for:
Any work on asbestos based material.
Painting or decoration of building fabric which we may have
todisturb as part of the installation.
