Gordian Surgical has developed a trocar with integrated closure system that offers surgeons a safe, easy and efficient solution to opening and suturing laparoscopic incisions.

Instead of inserting fascia closure sutures at the end of a procedure, Gordian’s uniquely designed

“two-in-one” trocar automatically inserts sutures into the tissue surrounding the trocar at the beginning of the procedure. When the trocar is removed, the physician easily closes the fascia by tying the sutures.
