Why Use Liberating Structures

Liberating Structures are departure from normal habits, traditions, and culture.

They create space for innovation and are designed to include everyone’s voice.

There are many liberating structures – today we will use one called TRIZ!

TRIZ (/ˈtriːz/; Russian: теория решения изобретательских задач or teoriya resheniya izobretatelskikh zadatch).

•a problem-solving and analysis tool•developed by the Soviet inventor and science fiction author Genrich Altshuller and his colleagues in 1946

•Gives permission to discuss taboo subjects

•Builds trust
