DESCRIPTION:This profession links cultural, technic, social, and economic aspects to generate and improve industrial production objects, which have direct contact with the user. Among others, we can mention household items, appliances, machinery and agricultural implements, transport and packaging

FIELD AND LABOUR MARKETThe industrial designer works in almost every type of manufacturing activity participating in the design, production and marketing processes of the products, either as designer within a company or as consultant or as manufacturer of his own designs. In addition, he can work as teacher in Universities or Institutes.

The social role of a product designer consists in supporting the industrial sector, mainly to the manufacture companies by making or updating their products.From the cultural stand point, he must design and/or redesign objects that reflect our rich cultural heritage or to propose innovations or trends in the manufactured products which originality allows to compete against other countries, responding also to the ethical-aesthetic and Mexican culture characteristics.PROFILE OF THE APPLICANT:Artistic sensitivity, curiosity, manual skills, oral and written quality expression, conceptualization and abstraction, perception and visual memory and creative capacity.

Entry Requirements:-Have completed a year in the common core of architecture.-Write a letter where you express why you want to attend the profession.-Photographs or illustrations discussed to show the skills and interests you have.degree requirements:a) Have passed all subjects and 100% of credits that make up the curriculum;b) Perform community service;c) Take and pass the professional exam.
