TRIP MANAGER TRAINING
SISD Transportation Department

Log in to our home page: www.sisd.net
Click on “Departments”
Under Administrative Services Click on “Transportation”
Highlight the “Field Trip Request” link
LOG IN
►ALL CAPS: Your username is on the system the way you sent it to Transportation via e-mail.
►Enter your Field Trip Manager password
► Use the command buttons on the website to navigate.
Do not use the tool bar.
For example:If your name is Jose A. Castorena, but your e-mail said Joe Castorena, you will enter JOE CASTORENA.

Enter Date of Field Trip*
Enter Trip Description (organization name, team, etc.)*
Pick up Campus (Ex. Socorro High School)*Use arrows to choose pickup and arrival times*
Use arrows to choose your account*
Enter Trip Destination (Ex. Montwood High School)*
*TAB after every entry and fill in all the spaces
Returning location will automatically show up unless you need to change it*
Use arrows to choose the time you expect to “leave” and “return” to your site*
If its more than one day, enter the return date (same day trip leave it blank)*
Leave “Trip Supervisor” blank*
Enter number of “Students” and “Adults”*
Under “Contact at Destination” enter the sponsors name (Ex. Coach’s name) and “Phone”number incase of an emergency*
On “extra information”, please specify the pick up area and any information you feel pertinent (Ex. Vocational Building, by flag pole, etc.)

PICK UP AT VOCATIONAL BUILDING. The Soccer team will be riding with the Volleyball JV Girls, drop off at same location. Shuttle return time for girls at 7:15 and soccer team at 9:15.

“Submit” your request
Click on “Look at Trips To Approve”
(To approve or deny trips)
Approvers:
You have an option either to print trips pending approval or log in to approve/deny.
This is the first screen you will see.
The empty slots show that it’s pending approval
To select which field trip to approve/deny:
1. Make your selection by clicking on the circle to the far left
2. Click on the Review/Approve command
To Deny highlight “No”To Approve highlight “Yes”
Notify the requester of any changes by using the “Approver Notes”box and “Submit” your request
(Ex. Time, date or # of unit change, etc.)
Once approved by Transportation, an e-mail will be sent to the
requester.
Once the trip is completed the charge can be viewed in the
system.
FINAL STEP
Options:
► Print Trip Requests ► Change Password
Click on “Print my Trip Request”
Select Date Range and Print Report
Click on “Change Password”
Enter New Password and Submit it.
