TONIGHT: 7:00 pm Tree Lighting Ceremony & Dedication of “Lights from the Heart” Christmas Tree in the Chapel Come and share this special time of lighting the Christmas tree to remember and celebrate those we love. Hot drinks and cookies will be served in the Mary Walsh Room following the service. Thank you, thank you for supporting the T H Café to the volunteers who put up the Sanctuary tree & the LFTH tree, to the bow maker of the beautiful wreaths on our church building. If you are a visitor, please sign our Guest Book in the Narthex. If you are a newcomer, we invite you to fill out the bookmark (found in a hymn book or beside the Guest Book), and place it in the offering plate. We would like to get to know you! ADVENT AT TRINITY Advent 3 - December 16: The Sunday of Joy Theme and Candle Lighting (Christmas Cantata “The Christmas Light”) Advent 4 - December 23: The Sunday of Love Theme and Candle Lighting (Story and Song) Monday, December 24: Christmas Eve 7 pm Christmas Story 10 pm Candle Lighting Following the Pictou County Council of Churches prayer roster, please hold in your prayers the Rev Wade Reppert and the congregation of Trenton United. Longest Night Service - a worship service for those who have heaviness in their heart at Christmas. Friday, December 21, 7 pm, St. Paul United Church, Westville (1944 Church St) Christmas is a time of joy and celebration and for many Christmas also carries undertones of grief, loss, and sorrow. The Longest Night service recognizes those voices as well. Come and join with us in sharing and hearing prayers, scripture, and music that acknowledge that God’s presence is for those who mourn, for those who struggle - and that God’s Word comes to shine light into our darkness. Everyone regardless of church background (or lack thereof) is welcome. Nova New Horizons Christmas Concert Monday, December 17, at 7:30 pm at Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton. The admission price is $10.00 and $5.00 for young children. All proceeds from this performance will go to the Pictou County Fuel Fund and Christ Anglican Church. The system to assist hearing impaired persons may be accessed by turning hearing aids to the “T” setting. “Let us bring equality, justice, and peace for all. Longest Night Service - a worship service for those who have heaviness in their heart at Christmas. Friday, December 21, 7 pm, St. Paul United Church,

Westville (1944 Church St) Christmas is a time of joy and celebration and for

many Christmas also carries undertones of grief, loss, and sorrow. The Longest Night service recognizes those voices as well. Come and join with us

in sharing and hearing prayers, scripture, and music that acknowledge that God’s presence is for those who mourn, for those who struggle - and that

God’s Word comes to shine light into our darkness. Everyone regardless of
