Hearty singing has been a hallmark of the Lutheran Church for centuries. We have a rich tradition of the visuals arts, as well. In a Lutheran understanding, both of these artistic forms can be rightly used to communicate the Word of God, and therefore, when joined together, will become a rich way of commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Music and visual arts are lively and ever-evolving. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we will integrate music and art from many times, places, and peoples to fully observe this anniversary.
