The Trinity CommunityWe work in partnership with the home to foster Christian values.

Trinity is more than a school, it is a community, a family... and every member is able, in some way, to contribute to its life.

New parents are welcomed each year through meetings and social activities.

The Trinity community, whilst nurturing and supporting its members, looks outward into the world. The College strives to contribute to the Mission of the Church by bringing the love of God to others.

Cultural Experiences

The programmes also include a myriad of excursions and overseas cultural experiences designed to broaden learning beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Almost every year, Trinity is host to students from overseas and our students regularly take up opportunities to experience another country individually, or as a part of a Trinity group.

Sport

Trinity offers an innovative and diverse Sporting Program, excellent facilities and a record of success in Sports Competitions.  Students enjoy the sporting complex, comprising a modern twenty five metre heated indoor swimming pool, two air conditioned

basketball/netball courts and adjacent gymnasium and sporting fields.

Trinity is also renowned for the quality of its Representative Teams allowing students the opportunity to represent the College in over twenty sports which includes cricket, netball, soccer, hockey, rugby union, rugby league, basketball, swimming, athletics and rowing.

Individual Care & SupportBelonging

To assist every student to develop a strong sense of belonging, the College’s basic pastoral structure is the ‘House’. Each student is allocated to a House on entry to the school and remains with the same set of students and staff during their time at the College. This provides continuity of care, with students and families becoming well known to the Head of House and Tutors.

Support

All Staff Members are committed to assisting and guiding students, both inside and outside the classroom. Teachers recognise the unique capacities of each girl and boy and they attempt to adapt learning processes to meet these differing needs. All students are encouraged to do their best and are challenged to excel where they can. The College has a culture of high expectation and a tradition of solid achievement.

Nurturing

Students are at their best in environments where they feel comfortable and cared for. Trinity has a strong family spirit; it is a place where young people are nurtured and valued. When difficulties arise we seek to resolve them quickly and in an affirming way. Individual support by specialist staff builds confidence and self-esteem.

Leadership

Trinity seeks to help form young women and men who are “good Christians and good citizens”. Students are encouraged to exercise their leadership capacities so that they can develop a strong sense of responsibility and social engagement. In this way they also acquire the confidence required to succeed both at school and beyond.

Communication

Effective communication between home and school is imperative. Students’ needs are best met when parents and staff feel free to express to one another their hopes, concerns and ideas. Various means of communication are available, ranging from the use of students’ College Planner to direct interviews. Parent participation and involvement is welcomed and valued.

In Word and Deed

Trinity is a faith community shaped by the spirit of the Religious Orders who founded the College – the Presentation Sisters and the Marist Brothers. Values such as Respect, Honesty, Love, Forgiveness and the Dignity of each student are integral to the Trinity ethos, lived out through the experience of belonging to a warm and accepting community.

The celebration of our faith is an important part of College life. All students participate in meditation, prayer and liturgy as part of the spiritual and faith formation.

Trinity provides a Christian education, in the Catholic tradition, through a well structured Religious Education Programme supported by Retreats and Reflection Days.

Youth Ministry, Cultural Immersions and Community Service are an integral part of Trinity life.
