Trina Solar Introduces Trinamount Solution at Proinso Solar Training School

Trina Solar Spain, a subsidiary of Trina Solar Limited, a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules, organized a product seminar together with PROINSO, one of the top global distributors of Trina Solar to introduce the innovative mounting system solution Trinamount in Spain.

The event took place on the 22nd July at the PROINSO headquarters in Fustiñana, Navarra, Spain, and was attended by 17 PROINSO country managers from all over EU and some best customers of PROINSO Qualified Installer Network. This one-day training session started with the introductory welcome from Mr. Álvaro García-Maltrás, Sales Director of Trina Solar Spain, Portugal and Greece, and an overview about Trina Solar and its wide product portfolio offering. After that, the Head of Marketing EU, Mr. Jean Philippe Petit, introduced the Trinamount system with a presentation followed by a practical session.

The attendees had the possibility to experience directly with the new mounting solution and to practice how easy and fast to mount a PV module can be with this system. There was an outdoor area equipped with real samples of different roof-types where attendees to this event could see directly how to mount PV modules with two of the three different types of Trinamount.

This seminar was part of a road-show series that Trina Solar is doing across Europe to introduce the Trinamount solution directly to PV distributors and installers.

Trinamount I, II & III - One principle, many different roof types

Trina Solar is developing products that expand upon current PV module offerings to include other system-related components. By combining the Company's high performing modules with the innovative Trinamount mounting solutions, overall system costs are expected to be considerably reduced, increasing the pricing competitiveness of solar energy compared to traditional energy sources. Trinamount hardware is compatible

with a wide variety of roof types. Trinamount I is designed for tile roofs and is compatible with Trina Solar's TSM-PC/PA05 module. Trinamount II is designed for pitched roofs, and comes with mounting hardware for composition shingle, standing seam, corrugated and trapezoidal metal. Trinamount III is designed for use on flat roofs, especially designed for commercial PV systems. All solutions follow the common goal of reducing system costs through an innovative approach to PV mounting methodologies.
