BCI General SpecificationsDesign: BCI Tricolore Shelving & Furniture

TR2.0 Concept:

TR2.0.1 A furniture series specifically designed for children. Consisting of bookcase modules with

adjustable feet, tables, countertops, picture book boxes, and chairs. The bookcase module is

available in two basic designs 1) shelf and 2) shelf compartment and can be connected by using level

or tilted metal shelves.

TR2.1 General

TR2.1.1 All finished surfaces shall be free of scratches, mars, dents or blemishes, and exhibit no flaking,

cracking or loss or adhesion.

TR2.1.2 All steel and wood items shall have smooth finishes with no hazardous projections, sharp corners or

detail, which can be hazardous and cause personal injury or damage to clothing.

TR2.1.3 In addition to any warranty implied by fact or law, the Bidder expressly warrants all items to be new,

free from defects in design, materials and workmanship, and be fit and sufficient for intended purpose.

Any sample or model, which is submitted, shall create an express warranty that the whole of the goods

shall conform to the sample or model.

TR2.2 Specifics:

TR2.2.1 Material: 1 thick MDF with soft coating (a rubber-like finish).
