A multi-million dollar televised ceremony, included three Vera Wang gowns, Lorraine Schwartz wedding band, white roses, fruit trees, and butterflies. However, their wedding was short-lived as they split after just 72 days. Now if that’s not a trick wedding, what is?

When you hear Pam Anderson, what comes to mind immediately? Controversy? After her tumultuous and scandalous marriage with Motley Crue Drummer Tommy Lee, she decided to get married to Kid Rock on a yacht in Saint Tropez. Pamela wore a white string bikini while her groom chose to don just a hat and jeans! The marriage lasted for only five months.

This probably was one of the biggest tricks of all time. Britney Spears married her ‘childhood sweetheart’ Jason Alexander at Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Then, 22-year-old Spears wore jeans and a baseball cap while exchanging vows with Alexander, who wore a casual shirt. The marriage ended in 55 hours.

Treat WeddingsDavid and Victoria Beckham

Half-a-million pounds might be frugal in today’s world, but fifteen years ago, it did hold significant weight. Posh and Becks’ wedding allegedly cost just over half a million pounds. The pair wedded in 1999, sitting on golden thrones. Victoria wore a Vera Wang dress and Elton John flew in especially to sing and play for this popular couple. The marriage is going strong and we could not be any happier for them!

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

Although, no longer together, their marriage was the talk of tinsel town back in 2006. ‘Tom Kat’ as they were fondly called, got married in an Italian castle in a ceremony, lasting three long days.

The wedding couldn’t get more royal. They got married at London’s Westminster Abbey as viewers in more than 180 countries turned on their television and Internet, and were left in complete awe. The bride’s wedding dress cost $70,000; the flowers $800,000; and the eight-tiered wedding fruit cake with white icing and 900 sugar paste flowers cost $80,000. However, William’s parents, Prince Charles and Lady Diana, outdid their son, which would cost $115 million in today (adjusted for inflation).
