Tribal People The people in this presentation live in the forest
in Papua New Guinea. Slide 2 The People of the Forest They live
closely with nature. They live in harmony with nature. They do not
waste the natural resources. Slide 3 These people appreciate their
environment. Slide 4 Slide 5 Slide 6 They do not waste energy on
unneeded light. Slide 7 They are living in simplicity but in
keeping with the cocepts of co existence we have lost. Slide 8
Slide 9 They cut trees down only when necessary. They may not have
the words we would use but they are natural stewards of the forest.
Slide 10 These people co- exist with nature in a profound
understanding & appreciation of their environment. Slide 11
They are guardians of the forest. They will preserve what they have
today to hand on to the next generation the same forest. In fact
they have been doing so for thousands of years. Slide 12 Every
aspect of their lives is sustained by the forest. Slide 13 Progress
in conjunction with nature not against it. Slide 14 Hunting from
nature is not to exploit but to manage. Slide 15 Man & nature
in a harmony of co existence. Slide 16 Slide 17 These people have a
spiritual understanding of their role in the keeping safe the
environment. They may not be religious in the way we understand.
Yet that does not make them less spiritual. Slide 18 Slide 19
People whose lives are so closely connected to nature that the idea
of destroying the environment is inconceivable. Slide 20 Hunting
for food. If they do not catch anything they will go without. We
have along ago abandoned that idea of going without. Now we demand
food so we even have obese people. Slide 21 Some people do starve.
So the idea that modern man is thinking of using the resources
wisely is nonsense. Slide 22 Slide 23 They use only what is
necessary from the land in order to live. Slide 24 They would never
