Temporary Safeguards Against Infections for Mass
Due to the continued increase in the number of cases of flu &
because of concerns regarding the Coronavirus, Archbishop
Paul Coakley has implemented the following temporary
precautions for churches in the Archdiocese of OKC.
Parishioners who are sick or experiencing symptoms, should
stay home. Catholics are not bound by the obligation to attend
Mass, including on Sunday, if they are ill. Temporarily
discontinue the distribution of the Precious Blood at Mass.
Discourage the holding of hands during Mass, including shaking
hands during the Sign of Peace. Please strongly consider
receiving Communion in the hand rather than on the tongue.
Receiving communion on the tongue may expose the priests’
hands to saliva, which can be passed to other parishioners. The
Archdiocese will alter these directions as needed.
Altar Society
The Sacred Heart Altar Society will be meeting this evening,
Sunday, March 8 @ 6:00 pm in the parish hall. Wendy & Kathy
will be serving dessert.
Parish Council
The Sacred Heart Parish Council will be meeting March 19, @
6:30 in Fathers Office.
Stations of the Cross
Stations of the cross will be prayed on all Fridays during Lent @
6:30 pm at Sacred Heart.

A Walk Through Lent with Our Lady
The American Indian Catholic Outreach office presents “A Walk Through
Lent with Our Lady” 9 am-4:30 pm March 21 @ Our Lady of the Lake Lodge
in Guthrie. Cost is $15.00. Register by March 16 by calling Deacon Roy
