SUSTAINABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENTMobility is not just growing, it should be sustainable as well. And future proof. And circular. This means that we have to look beyond our national borders, because climate doesn’t care about borders. Infrastructure increasingly intersects with other social issues. This requires being future proof.
DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTUREThe infrastructure of the future is less about tarmac and concrete and more about zeroes and ones. Big data require big thinking and innovations are increasingly of a digital nature. We can learn from start-ups that bring us new technology. How can we ensure that these start-ups develop into scale-ups, so that the digital world can make the physical world future proof? SMART LOGISTICSCars are becoming ever smarter. At the same time our roads are getting more crowded. This requires smart infrastructure. Maybe even communicating, autonomously operating traffic lights. But what about safety? Not just the safety of people and the environment, but also the safety of all those data. Is the sector really future proof?
CHAIN COOPERATIONThe infrastructure of the future requires different ways of working together. Different ways of contracting. Will the way that clients tender contracts still be adequate in the future? Is the sector able to handle new laws and regulations? Are clients buying smartly, and do they manage their assets in the right way? Are partnerships future proof? HIGHLIGHTS IN THE PROGRAM InfraTech Innovation Award | RWS Market Day | CROW Program | Key
