TaLEs of anCiEnT grEECEthe ancient Greeks lived in Greece, the places that we now call Bulgaria and turkey. they are known to have come up with new ideas for government, science, philosophy, religion, and art

DemocracyA form of democracy in ancient Greece was practised in the city-state of Athens for about 100 years. It was an experiment. All adult citizens had to take an active part in government (rule by many). At this time, citizens were free men. The word “democracy” is Greek. It means “government by the people.”

TheatreThe word “theatre” is Greek. Most modern theatres follow the Greek plan. The ancient Greeks loved live

theatre. Every town had at least one open air theatre. These theatres attracted crowds of 15,000 people. The ancient Greeks came up with three types of plays. Tragedies always had a sad ending. Comedies always had a happy ending. And satires poked fun at real people and events.

The OlympicsThe first Olympic Games were held in 776 BC at the Greek city of Olympia. The ancient Greeks loved competitions of all sorts, especially sports. The Olympics were not the only

competition held in ancient Greece, but they were the most popular.

ArchitectureThroughout the world, buildings were made in the style of ancient Greece. The British Museum is an example of this. The ancient Greeks wanted their art to be visually interesting. Still, they were not going to let a building fall down because they wanted it to look beautiful. What they would do was design the support pillars so that from a distance they looked straight and graceful. But in reality, those pillars

might lean this way or that way in order to provide better support. The Greeks were great architects.

The first alphabet with vowelsThe ancient Greeks played an important part in the creation of alphabets. The first two letters of the Greek alphabet - alpha and beta - have given us the word “alphabet.” The Greek alphabet is over 2,500 years old and is still used today! The Greek alphabet was the first alphabet to include vowels. It is another gift we received from the Greeks.. Nusrat NaushiN

i am adnan’s bodyhey everybody, my name is adnan. Please help me! My body parts have been torn apart by an evil witch named rafata! only You can help me put them back together. here’s how you can do it.

one body part of mine will be here every week. You have to cut it out, collect them every week until they all come together. i’m sure you can do it and save me from rafata!

HairHola amigos! I am Adnan’s hair. Rafata tore me away from Adnan’s head and now I’m all dirty. You gotta understand there are roots inside the head where the hair comes out from like a tree, called Follicles. Like soil, the Follicle grows on Sebaceous, which makes the oil and makes our hair beautiful and waterproof. But no one has washed me for a while, and now there is too much oil amigo! I feel sick. Please help me get back to Adnan’s head.

wEEk 1 Body parts:

So why are eggs healthy again? For building both muscle and brainpower, you need a fair share of eggs in your diet. Eggs offer protein, and they’re one of the few foods that naturally contain vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium. Eating protein at breakfast helps you feel fulllonger (no mid-morning hunger pangs). It even keeps your eyes healthy which will help you stay away from wearing those fat glasses! So, instead of going for chocolates, why not have an egg? Nusrat NaushiN
