A HISTORIC new BEGINNING
The Cliveden Spa has been revamped and is reopening alongside a brand new state-of-the-art
building which links the house to the spa within the walled garden. Cutting edge design and
quintessentially British treatments create an oasis of tranquillity surrounded by the lavender and scented
roses which adorn the historic garden.

These experiences and treatments use Cliveden’s own range of products, providing guests with an exceptional personal experience to address the individuals complete wellbeing.
Each treatment is carried out on a water mattress and begins with a foot bathing ritual during which your therapist will
conduct a full consultation to establish your specific needs and tailor each treatment accordingly for an entirely bespoke
experience.
The history of Cliveden has informed the treatments and products giving them a unique and original story. Anna-Maria, for whom Cliveden was originally built, as well as perhaps the House’s most famous resident Nancy Astor, have provided the
inspiration for the scents which are ever present in the spa, treatments and products. These scents reflect the combination
of strength, subtlety and femininity of the women who inspired them.

CLIVEDEN BESPOKE FLOATATION

Performed on a warm water mattress, this luxurious tailor-made
treatment is responsive to how you are and what your body needs at
that particular moment. Incorporating natural healing therapies from
around the world and powerfully enveloping products, this two hour
experience allows our highly-trained therapists to cover your full mental
and physical wellbeing, releasing any tension, restoring emotional
energy, revitalising your senses and improving skin health, tone
and texture.
THE GARDEN OASIS PURIFYING EXPERIENCE
90 MINUTES £160
Designed to stimulate the natural detoxifying process, this
comprehensive face and body treatment involves a series of body
brushing, hot stone placements, deep body massage and targeted
acupressure and reflexology to release toxins and aid healing. Combined
perfectly with cleansing and reviving facial techniques to encourage
complete revitalisation of body, mind and complexion. Performed on a
warm water mattress to aid detoxification and increase relaxation.
HOLISTIC HAVEN BODY TREATMENT

A luxurious but effective and gloriously fragrant full body treatment
to leave skin soft, firm & hydrated. Following a full bespoke body
exfoliation of detoxifying Himalayan salts and therapeutic oils, to
stimulate and rid skin of tired cells, experience a hydrating hyaluronic
mineral wrap or energising detox wrap to improve skin tone and texture.
While cocooned, rhythmical pressure is applied to vital acupressure
points on the face and soles of the feet to restore harmonious flow of
energy and ensure the deepest level of relaxation.
THE ROSE GARDEN EXPERIENCE

Ideal for emotionally and physically tired souls, this treatment will
release tension and leave your skin hydrated and nourished. A radiance-
enhancing Pink Himalayan salt and therapeutic botanical body
exfoliation is followed by an Ayurvedic inspired oil pouring ritual. The
rich botanical oils including musky rose, earthy cedarwood, patchouli,
jasmine, evening primrose, strawberry & blueberry seed, offer the
perfect medium for a stress easing full body treatment. Combining
ancient Indian massage techniques with craniosacral therapy to balance

This signature facial uses a combination of anti-ageing and glow-
inducing techniques to illuminate the skin and leave face, body and

been described as a non-surgical facelift. This seventy five minute facial
consists of specialised facial and eye contour massage techniques,

Whether you are new to exercise or are already used to taking regular
exercise and need an extra boost, our professional personal trainer
is available to provide guidance, together with fitness assessments,
appraisals, program design and development.
Our personal trainer provides the most comprehensive range of
services that include body composition analysis and flexibility testing.
Sessions can be booked individually or as part of a planned programme
of activity.
PERSONAL PILATES SESSION

Focusing on building your body’s core strength and improving your
posture, Pilates combines a series of low-repetition, low impact
stretching and conditioning exercises.
Our personal Pilates sessions are designed to work with your individual

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art designed to develop and
balance the body’s natural energy. It will also improve coordination,

TENNIS AND SQUASH
A dedicated tennis centre is located within the grounds of the estate
and offers one indoor court and two outdoor courts.
We offer complimentary indoor court hire* for a maximum of
sixty minutes. Additional court time is charged at £10 per hour,
PERSONAL TENNIS COACHING

If you want to brush up on your forehand, the house has its own on-site
tennis professional who is available for coaching and advice to players
of all standards.

Spa Opening Times
The Spa and gym are open Monday-Friday from 6:30am-10pm Saturday and Sunday 7am-9pm The Spa Kitchen is open daily from 8am and closes at 8pm.
Spa Reservations
We strongly advise you book your spa appointments and fitness classes in advance to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made by calling spa reservations or visiting the spa reception.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is required at the point of booking, we hold a 24 hour cancellation policy, any cancellations within this time will be charged in full. Non-arrivals will incur a 100% charge.
Spa Arrival
We suggest you arrive between 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to complete a consultation card and to change into a robe. Please be aware late arrivals may result in a reduction of treatment time.
Towels, Robes and Slippers
Towels, robes and slippers are provided for you throughout your visit, you will find these located in either the female or male changing rooms. More towels are available on the poolside. If you require a different size robe please visit the spa reception.
Lockers
Lockers are available for your use in both the female and male changing rooms. The lockers operate by using a pin code, the specific code is to be decided by you each time you visit. Place your belongings inside your chosen locker and close the door, enter your chosen pin code and press the button with the key image. When you return to the locker re-enter your pin code and you will be able to open the door. If you require any assistance please visit the spa reception and a member of the team will happily demonstrate this for you.
Steam Room and Sauna
We have an Infra-red sauna. It is important to remember that the sauna will feel slightly different to a conventional sauna when you first enter, in that you won’t feel the heat immediately however you will find you start to feel the heat far more intensely very quickly. The Infra-red sauna reaches deeper into the tissues than the heat from a traditional sauna, and causes more toxins to be released whilst you sweat. Both the steam room and sauna are mixed gender therefore we ask you to wear swimwear whilst enjoying these facilities.
Health Conditions
We strongly recommend advising us of any pre-existing health or medical conditions prior to your arrival so we can ensure we provide you with a suitable treatment.
Children
Hotel resident and spa member’s children are permitted to use the indoor pool between 9am-10.30am and 4pm-5.30pm, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please see spa reception for more details.
SPA ETIQUETTE
Showering
We kindly ask that you shower before entering the spa area. We also ask that you shower after using the steam room or sauna. Showers are available on the poolside and in the changing rooms.
Noise
We endeavour to keep the spa a relaxing and calm environment, with this in mind we kindly ask that noise is kept to an absolute minimum.
Mobile phones
We ask that you vacate the indoor pool area whilst using a mobile phone so as not to disturb other spa uses. We understand you may want to remember your time in the spa with a photo however please be respectful of our other guests. You are welcome to use your phone in The Spa Kitchen however we do ask that noise is kept to a minimum whilst making phone calls.
