PINDASWEDA 50’A warming treatment of Indian origin codified by Ayurvedic medicine It uses cloth sacks (potali) containing herbs, algae and/or seeds, sea salt, which once heated are used to massage the body. Warming and relaxing, draining, anti-fatigue. The manoeuvres consist in rubbing the stuffed sacks on the muscles and, at the end, energy balance is restored by placing the hot potali on the treated zones. During the treatment the cloth sacks are heated on a special warming-plate. € 110,00

THAI MASSAGE 50’WAT-PO style. A massage performed on a ‘futon’ (cotton mat) placed on the floor, using the pressure of thumbs, palms, soles of feet, etc., with a rocking movement. EARTH-SKY 50’Specific Ayurvedic technique. Oleation, followed by Shirodara. The temperature of the thermal water of Casciana Terme at the source is 35.7°C. The temperature of the water in the pools of Terme Villa Borri is slightly inferior and can undergo perceptible variations depending on the temperature of the environment, and, for the ‘slow river’ and the Oliva micro-pool, the natural precipitation (rainfall, hail, snow), because of heat dispersion.

Booking your treatment: the first step is to consult with our staff to help you choose the most suitable treatment.

Arrival at the Spa: please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment. Late arrival will simply reduce the length of your treatment which must, nevertheless, end at the designated time.This is necessary in order to perform the following treatments at the time scheduled.

Cancelling your appointment: treatments must be cancelled with 24 hours’ prior notice; otherwise, the full price will charged.

Relaxation: silence helps relaxation, please keep your mobile phones switched off and speak in a low voice.

Therapists: please feel free to request either a male or female therapist for your treatments. We will make every effort to fulfil guests’ requests, whenever possible.

Minors are not permitted to the Wellness Centre, even if accompanied by an adult.

The houses, 22 luxury apartments which have been elegantly refurbished in a typically Tuscan style with the classic terracotta flooring and wooden or, at times, brick-vaulted ceilings. The apartments vary in size, to suit every guest’s needs, but are all equipped with every comfort necessary to guarantee full self-sufficiency. In the living rooms there are kitchenettes where guests may prepare their meals if they like. In each apartment there are umbrellas and old Tuscan ‘tabarri’ (cloaks) which, in case of rain or colder weather, allow you to walk the few metres separating the houses from the Thermal Wellness Centre simply wearing a bathrobe. 20
