Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) is one of the oldest systems of healing. It is not only concerned with the treatment of existing complaints, but also with the prevention of new ones. TCM views the human body as a microcosm which interacts harmoniously with the macrocosm in which we live. We are healthy as long as both are in balance. An illness ensues if this delicate balance is upset. In TCM, it is essential to know the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Together with Ying/Yang and Qi theories (energy or life force) they map every kind of change and development in the human condition as well as between people and their environment. People are seen as individuals. This is why two different people suffering from the same illness do not necessarily receive the same treatment: they are considered two separate bodies with their own distinct histories and are therefore given two different treatments. TCM is thus considered holistic: it focuses on the harmony of body, mind and spirit.The system attaches great importance to the prevention of illnesses, the balance of body and mind and a state of harmony with nature. Assistance - Any of our receptionists can help you plan the perfect Arabella Spa experience. Individual treatment combinations are designed to ensure that you get the ultimate benefit from the experience.

Cancellation Policy - Please notify us at least 4 hours in advance if you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment, otherwise we must charge the full price of the service. If you wish to cancel an Arabella SPA package, 24 hours notice is required. Arriving late will reduce your treatment time and you will be charged for the full price of your treatment.

Payment Options - We accept all major credit cards. Hotel guests may also be charged for the ArabellaSPA services to their room.

Lockers - We offer our clients lockers for our changing rooms in the Arabella SPA. Please note that we recommend to leave valuable items such as jewellery and others in your room safe because the ArabellaSPA cannot take responsibility for any lost or stolen items.

Health Conditions - If you suffer from high blood pressure, a difficult heart condition or allergies, have recently been operated on, or if you are pregnant, please notify our Arabella SPA personnel when booking your treatments. Please also advise us of any medication you are taking. It is always advisable to check with your doctor prior to your arrival.
