What it is

StorylineTwo girls are given the task of making a Horror Film trailer, They have to record the making of the trailer, ideas, locations, everything. The girls start to record their ideas and start filming certain clips when finding a location in the woods they girls find and old building in the middle of the woods, they decide to go look inside and explore, they end up finding a stack of old tapes, at the window a man in a dark coat appears but the girls don’t notice him there. When they get home the find that the tapes are the murders of local girls/ children who have gone missing, they go back to the building to put the tapes back but when they start walking back a man with a dog stops them and asks what they was doing down there, the girls explain they are making a film trailer and was looking for a location. They then go to carry on with the filming at night and go to the old building to film the trailers ‘ghost hunting films’, half way through films they start hearing footsteps and doors opening, the girls get into an argument about the building being empty and one girl swears she saw a dark shadow watching them, the girls freak out and leave the building. When they get home and editing their footage but discover the dark figure has been in every scene they’ve filmed. They go back to the old building to get the tapes to take to the police station, but when they arrive at the building a man in a dark coat is stood in the room, the girls begin to run through the woods but the man gets them and brings them to the building and says ill help you make a horror film trailer and ties the girls up, he places their camera facing them- see the fear on their faces- comes back in with lots of tools covered in blood.

Sound

• No over sound until at least stage 5 as this will represent the equilibruim to start like the todorov theory

• Eerie music will start at stage 5

• Stage 7 there will be a dramatic, bold enhanced sound to represent that he is the person who is going to be the disruption.

• Sound effects of footsteps on leaves

• Eerie music enhanced at stage 8 to represent that the stack of videos are bad

• sound effects of girls screaming and crying at stage 9 when they discover what the video tapes are

• Fast pace sound at stage 11 to show they need to get them back before somebody finds them, also to build the tension.

• Silence at stage 12 to show importance of the character

• Dramatic, bold, enhanced sound at stage 14 again
