Insider’s Perspective: Rome October 24 – 31, 2012

A balance of planned excursions and free time makes this tour ideal both for those new to Rome and those always drawn to return. A good value, the tour includes visits to a studio of mosaic art-ists and restorers, the Borghese Gallery, the Vatican Museums, the ancient Monti Quarter, which is filled with character and history, the historical summer resi-dence of the popes at Castel Gandolfo, and an excursion to the ancient port of Ostia. $2,995
