THE PACESETTER: Altour again tops the list of the largest travel agencies in Los Angeles County with $402 million in revenue from local operations last year, a 15 percent increase from 2011. In the county, the company has 510 agents working in six local offices. As a whole, the company has more than 1,200 employees in 61 offices worldwide, including locations in London and Paris. The company had total sales of $1.5 billion in 2012, with about 80 percent from business and entertainment travel.
