Transverse emittances during Abort Gap cleaning tests 30-Sep-2010 (plots on next page)

-Bunch 1 and 1201at 450 GeV (separated by dt=abort gap)

-Emittance measured by:-WS with acquisition gate (~10us) centered on Bunch 1, not blind to Bunch 1201-BSRT with acquisition gate 25 ns changing from bunch 1 to bunch 1201 every ~10 sec

-Two fills:1-cleaning system setup

-emittance increase of both bunches while changing settings before 14:00-strong emittance increase of bunch 1 (H and V) and bunch 1201 (V) at ~ 14:05

2-cleaning test with optimized settings-cleaning switched on and off at least two times (tbc by Wolfang) and no evidence of variation of the initial emittance increase rate (~linear and similar to what normally seen by nominal bunches sitting at injection)
