• Large suburban sprawl with limited transport.

• Challenge: A more relevant transport network

Wingecarribee LGA• Often referred to as the Southern Highlands. Major towns are Bowral ,

Mittagong and Moss vale (61% of population). 75 km from Campbelltown.

• Challenges : Out of hours transport for young and disabled.

Wollondilly LGA• Distance to Sydney is approx 80km. Picton is the major town.

• Population 44,000 in 16 towns/villages over 2,500 SqKm

• Unemployment is 3.8% with the vast majority travelling for work down the M5

• Approx 50% of the population is aged under 34 yrs

• Working families seeking affordable housing

• Semi rural setting

• Challenge: Out of hours transport and distances

• Aspirations: Better planning re: land use/transport
