WATER PROVISION FOR THE YEAR 2017/18

Background
Transparency International–Kenya (TI-Kenya) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1999 in
Kenya with the aim of developing a transparent and corruption free society through good
governance and social justice initiatives. TI-Kenya is one of the autonomous chapters of the global
Transparency International movement that are all bound by a common vision of a world in which
government, business, civil society and the daily lives of people are free of corruption.
Expression of Interest
TI Kenya invites Expression of Interests from eligible firms/organizations and companies to
provide accommodation& conference facilities, transport, stationery, courier services, provision of
office drinking water for the year 2017/2018 in the following areas:
Nairobi
Accommodation and conferences Transport (Road) Equipment Repair and maintenance Drinking water Courier services
Eldoret, Kisumu, Mombasa, Turkana, Pokot, Marsabit and Wajir
Accommodation and conferences Taxi and car hire services Courier services
Expression of Interests MUST be submitted with:
A detailed quotation for the relevant field of operation A signed and sealed/stamped Letter of Expression A detailed company/firm profile Proof of legal incorporation, VAT registration certificate, KRA PIN certificate and
Compliance, trading license Payment receipt

Instructions to tenderers TI-Kenya employees, members, committee members, board members and their relatives
(spouse and children) are not eligible to participate in the tender.
This Invitation for Tenders is open to all eligible tenderers. Successful tenderers shall provide the services for the stipulated duration from the date of commencement specified in the tender documents.
Tenderers involved in corrupt or fraudulent practices or debarred from participating in public procurement shall not be eligible.
All bidders found capable of performing the contract satisfactorily in accordance with the set pre-qualification tender criteria shall be eligible for pre-qualification.
TI-Kenya will examine the proposals to determine completeness and sufficiency in responsiveness.
Tenderers shall not contact TI- Kenya on matters relating to their tender from the time of opening to the time the evaluation is finalized and official communication sent to them. Any effort by the tenderer to influence TI-Kenya in the evaluation shall result in cancellation of their tender.
Pre-qualification will be based on meeting the minimum criteria regarding the applicant’s legal status, general and particular experience, personnel and financial position as demonstrated by their responses where applicable accordingly.
Late bids, portion of bids and bids not received, shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of circumstances.
Submission of Expression of Interest:
The tender documents for the services stated above, should be dropped at TI-Kenya offices on Kindaruma road, off ring road Kilimani, next to Commodore Office Suites Gate No. 713 Suite No. 4, together with the payment receipt on or before Friday, 12thJanuary 2018 by 5.00pm in a plain envelop, clearly marked Tender TIK/005/FIN/2017. Any proposal received after this date will entirely be rejected.
