  • The Future of Healthcare: Developing the workforce Many of tomorrows workforce are here today. Much greater priority needs to be given to developing the skills and competences of the current workforce, to better meet the needs of patients today and tomorrow. Without building capacities and capabilities in our workforce for a world of continuous change and emergence of new roles and possibilities we risk being perpetually out of step and continually rebuilding our workforce to do yesterdays, not tomorrows, health care work.
