High Pi ReportHello, my name is Anthony Seibert the new

High Pi at Alpha Delta. Bill Stoltz stepped down fromthe position after many years of working with the

chapter. We all ought to thank Bill for his superior jobof working with Alpha Delta. For a little backgroundI am a brother of the Cincinnati chapter and startedgraduate studies at the university this past fall. I amlooking forward to working with the chapter.

The chapter is one of the strongest chapters ofLambda Chi Alpha I have ever seen. The brotherhoodamong the members has led the chapter to manygre3at achievements this past year setting the chapteramongst the best on campus. I would also like to con-gratulate the retiring high zeta for their great work and

welcome our new officers.I am looking forward to my first St. Pats as I

am certain the rest of you are looking forward to it. Iam glad to have met several of the alumni already butI am looking forward to meeting the rest of you overthe next semester. I would also like to thank each ofyou for your support of the chapter. I look forward tomore great things from Alpha Delta Zeta.

High Delta ReportThroughout the past three years, large rush

classes has helped Lambda Chi Alpha push towardsthe goal of having a full house. This can be attributed

to very dedicated brothers and alumni giving theirtime to work very hard toward rush. With the contri-butions of all these people we have had excellent rushclasses recently.

Spring recruitment is very essential. We cur-rently have a goal to sign two more associates beforethe end of the semester. We are doing this by havingsocial events and inviting potential members over tothe house. But as we try to sign a couple new associ-ates this spring it is also important that we set up astrong summer and fall rush program like we have

done the last three years. This has already started thissemester by recruiting incoming freshman during theirPRO day visits to Rolla and by all of the brothersmaking recruitment calls. I also plan to make one onone rush visits as soon as possible seeing as this hasbeen a very effective recruitment tool in the past.

With the help of all of the brothers and alumni,we are working very hard to recruit the best potentialcandidates to join our brotherhood and keep the housePure, High, and Ever Growing as stated in our

    creed.

If there are any alumni that would like to do-nate time or have any suggestions please feel free to

    contact Anthony Mayer.

Planning Retreat and Christmas Dinner 2010

Brothers,It is both a privilege and an honor to have been elected President of the ADZ

House Corporation for 2009-10 and I share the responsibility with the otherOfficers and the Board of Directors. With the financial help of all thealumni and the support of the chapter we will strive to maintain ADZ as the

best fraternity on campus. But talk is easy; the proof comes in achievingexcellence in all areas of brotherhood, activities, operations and conditionof the chapter house.

By the time this issue of THE TRANSIT reaches you we will have 13 newinitiate brothers to welcome into the full bonds of the brotherhood. Thefall associate class being initiated is young, enthusiastic, and smarthaving achieved an average GPA of 2.83 even with two associates not making

grades. This was the highest associate average since 2002.Alpha Delta started the semester with a Strategic Planning Retreat on

Saturday January 9, 2010 and followed up with an officer goal settingsession 5 days later. The new campus Greek Plan for Success was alsodiscussed and ADZ should score high in 4 out of 5 standards in the plan. For more information see the Feb. 2010 issue of the House Corporation UPDATEnewsletter.

We are bringing back the Phone-a-thon on Saturday March 6 from 10am to 1pmto raise funds needed for improvements at the chapter house so please begenerous when chapter members call. Also an Alumni/Chapter workday will beheld on Saturday April 24 starting at 9am at the Chapter House.

At the 2009 Homecoming board meeting the House Corporation created three newcommittees; Newsletter, Rush and Volunteer Giving along with Scholarship tocreate additional ways for alumni to be involved. If you want to serve onany of the committees, please contact me at [email protected] or636-391-6912.In ZAX,Len Kirberg AD 610
