DRY TYPE FURNACE TRANSFORMERS Dry type transformers are advantageous compared with oil filled

transformers. They avoid the perceived fire risk of oil filled transformers and thus be accommodated inside a building or even on the roof of an office block

Dry type transformers is of low maintenance and high reliability

• Isolation Transformers are separate primary and secondary winding are intended to convert the input voltage to a more useful level and attenuate the passage of noise or transients from primary to secondary by the way of copper shielding between primary and secondary.

• Ultra Isolation Transformers will suppress all type of electrical noise predominantly common mode noises and normal mode noises since it isolates primary and secondary are separates neutral to ground bound on the secondary side, can be used to create separately derived source to fight current loops.

• Commonly used to protect computers, CNC machines and telecommunication equipments from damage due to electrical noise, spikes etc.,

DISCHARGE REACTORS PRINCIPLES Discharge Reactors satisfy the requirement for permanently

connected discharging devices and for a discharge time of a few seconds

Because of its high AC resistance discharge reactors generates extremely low loss during operation of the capacitor.

When Capacitors are turned off there is very fast discharge over the low DC resistance

3PH filter Reactor are built with permeability iron sheet cores & copper Windings it provide a variety of protective functions- To limit short circuit currents to defined levels. To block Harmonics. To protect capacitors in Reactive current balancing systems. To reduce dv∕dt values in Drive Systems. In commutation notch protection The resonance phenomena can be avoided by connecting capacitors in series with filter Reactors, Detuned system are scaled so that the Self-resonant frequency is below the lowest line harmonic.
