Split airport is located about half an hour to 45 minutes (depending on traffic) outside Split, near the town of Trogir (see map bellow).

By train Split can be reached by train from Europe, although the majority of routes involve a change of trains at Zagreb. There are several trains a day from Zagreb - following track improvements in the past few years to allow for fast tilting trains, this journey time has now been reduced to about 5 hours. The main train station in Split is conveniently located next to the bus terminal and the ferry port (Harbour Office Terminal) on the east end of Riva and the old town (see map bellow). From Harbour Office Terminal/Main Train Station/Main Bus Terminal you can walk across Riva (Diocletian Palace) to the west end and from there to Sv. Frane, take the Bus Nr. 12, direction “Meje (Bene)”, until “Villa Dalmacija – MedILS” (see map bellow).

Buses run once an hour (10 min before full hour) and depart from Sv. Frane (west end of Riva). A one-way ticket costs 11 kn.
