Day 4 - Session 2 – Day 4 - Session 2 – The ‘additional information’ template The ‘additional information’ template
Why a template on ‘additional information’?
- It provides an instrument of flexibility in the reporting exercise
- It allows to comment or report upon important issues that are not covered
elsewhere- It enriches the knowledge-base of the CRIC
on concrete issues faced by Parties- It facilitates the making of more targeted and
specific recommendations to the COP.

• The information on difficulties experienced is referred to the 5 e-SMART criteria of each indicator.
• Parties need to be familiar with the meaning of the e-SMART criteria for each indicator as described in ICCD/CRIC(8)/5/Add.2.
