Introduction to Commercial AV (1 day course)
Dates: 8th May, 3rd July, 12th September, 6th November
Commercial AV, increasingly, is seeking the distinctive, high quality customer
experiences that CI delivers every day. In response to a growing number of requests
from CI integrators we’ve created two complementary Commercial AV training
courses dedicated to the installation of discreet high performance AV in shops, clubs,
bars, restaurants and hotels. This introductory course offers Custom Installation
Engineers a better understanding and experience of planning and deploying systems.
Course topics include: Understanding the difference between residential AV systems
and those used in commercial applications; Size of application; Volume requirements;
Monaural and stereo options; Power and impedance requirements; Defining the right
configuration; Low impedance serial/parallel applications; High impedance (“constant
voltage” systems); Understanding signal loss over distance; Audio transports, Speaker
levels; Signal Levels; Digital interfaces; Large-scale signal distribution; Audio sources;
Auto-mixers; Integrating video and audio; AVoIP; Hands-on - designing a system.
Course Fee: £99.00 + VAT(Full payment is required at time of booking)

Commercial AV Integrator (1 day course)
Dates: 11th June, 4th July, 13th September, 7th November
Aimed at engineers who have attended the ‘Introduction to Commercial AV’ course,
or those with greater experience of Commercial AV installation. The Commercial AV
Integrator course covers the more advanced aspects of CAV deployment.
Course topics include: Introduction to CAV configuration software; Yamaha
MTX/XMV Editor; Wyrestorm Management Suite; Dante controller; Organising CAV
diagrams; Hands-on practical; Configuring a MTX/MRX system using MTX/XMV
Editor; Hands-on practical; Wiring video and audio sources (incl. balanced inputs).
Course Fee: FREE
Open to those who have attended the 'Introduction to Commercial AV' course. This training course is free of

ProNet - Quick Start (1 day course)
Dates: 16th May, 16th July, 17th September, 19th November
Designed for electricians and custom installers who need to boost their
understanding of IP.
Course topics include: Understanding Basic Networking; How networks work; How to
make them more reliable; Setting up switches and routers; Hands-on experience.
This course provides CEDIA training points.

ProNet - Integrator (2 day course)
Dates: 22nd & 23rd May, 17th & 18th July, 18th & 19th September,20th & 21st November
A 2-day course covering the more advanced aspects of IP system integration and
design.
Day 1 includes: Advanced router configuration; Integration of CI-IP products;
Network organisation; Address reservation; Subnets and VLANs; Bandwidth
management; Load balancing; Port forwarding; VPNs; Multicasting; Traffic
management.
Day 2 Introducing Ruckus ICX switching, the path to multi-gigabit connectivity.
Includes introduction to the 7150 switch range, the model specs and feature sets;
Introduction to the 7250 and 7650 switches; Ruckus V Cisco model comparison; Basic
command line setup - how to give it an IP, how to upgrade a unit, setting VLANS -
adding ports to VLANs; Accessories options including additional power supplies,
licensing models and Layer 3 entitlements etc; Which switch for which application.
Completing this course is required in order to purchase RUCKUS ICX SWITCHES
from Habitech.
Course Fee: £150.00 + VATPlease note: if you have attended Day 1 or know how to use Cisco Command line you can attend Day 2 for £99.00 + VAT.

ARCAM - Product Training (1 day course)
Dates: 7th May, 2nd July, 3rd September, 17th October, 12th November
This course will provide you with everything you need to know about how to
configure ARCAM products according to your customer’s requirements.
Course topics include: Introduction to ARCAM; The product range; Accessories and
integration; The technology behind the product; Applications; Becoming an ARCAM
reseller.
Completing this course is required in order to purchase ARCAM products from
Habitech. Due to their technical nature, all ARCAM products must be installed by the
person who has completed the ARCAM training course. No technical support will be
given to those who have not completed the course. Attendance must be approved by
your Habitech Business Development Manager.

Designed to give you more understanding of CCTV and security, and help with site
integration and kit configuration.

network setup; NVR configuration; Camera configuration; Video Analytics, Smart
Detection, Tripwire function etc.

WyreStorm training will give you a greater understanding of HD distribution, help you
with diagnosing potential issues when installing, and develop the skills you’ll need to
