I am hoping the video can help people point out that the school readiness arguments of the next few years should bypass the empty topic of rigor and focus on whether initiatives are making accurate assessments of how children think and feel, and how their development can best be facilitated." J. Ronald Lally, Ed.D., Co-Director, Center for Child and Family Studies. DVD, 22 minutes, West Ed.

This provocative and inspirational presentation created by Kathie Snow explores new ways of thinking about people with disabilities. When we think differently, we’ll act differently: we can focus on ensuring children and adults with disabilities live natural lives as citizens in their communities, instead of as clients within the service system. DVD, Kathie Snow, BraveHeart Press SN 035 – Disability is Natural: Revolutionary Common Sense for Raising Successful Children with Disabilities (2005) Children with disabilities, under the loving guidance of their parents, can lead successful, natural lives at home, in school, and in their communities. When we recognize that disability is a natural part of the human experience, new attitudes will lead to new actions! Kathie Snow, BraveHeart Press
