actual policing performance and to make appropriate organisational and training interventions for bridging these gaps.
• 10 components.• 20 States & UTs will be covered.• Under 12th Plan- 36.96 Crores

,existing training, recruitment & promotionalpolicies, level of motivation etc.ØRequirement of additional manpower &

CIAT Schools§ 21 Counter Insurgency and
Anti- Terrorist (CIAT) Schools set up in 9 states (Assam, Bihar , Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura & West Bengal) in 11th plan.
§ 20, 000 police personnel trained.
§ 4 new Schools(Bihar ,Odisha, West Bengal &Tripura) proposed in 12th
