Teesside Rigging & Lifting have over 25 years’

experience in all aspects of rigging, lifting

and erection services installing all types of

loads within the construction and oil and gas

industries both onshore and offshore.

We are based in Teesside in north east England

in a 7500sqft training centre. We offer a range

of rigging and lifting training courses that are

accredited to ECITB, OPITO & LEEA. Teesside

Rigging & Lifting provide a quality professional

service that meets clients’ requirements and

expectations in a cost effective and safe way.

We are FAPL accredited and are BS OHSAS

18001 2007, ISO 14001: 2004 & ISO 9001:

2008 registered. For the provision of training

and consultancy for rigging and lifting and

associated topics.

In the UK and many locations globally it is

a statutory requirement and as a minimum

a part of the safe system of work that all

lifting operations are properly planned and

supervised and carried out by competent

persons.If you would like to discuss

formulating a lifting plan for your business we

will review the lifting operation and generate

method statements, risk assessments and

detailed Loler drawings for any rigging or

lifting operations in compliance with all current

statutory legislation requirements. We are

able to provide a professional service for the

complete Rigging and Lifting Operation.

We can assess your current workforce and

level of competency and develop a training

program to address any shortfall in training

and competency.

the existing personnel are fully trained and

RIGGING, LIFTING AND STEEL ERECTION

Teesside Rigging and Lifting work in both the

Onshore and Offshore oil and gas industry. With

a full understanding of all lifting and rigging

regulations including L.O.L.E.R., P.U.W.E.R and

BS 7121, we can offer our clients a range of

services which include the following:

Rigging instructors and Assessors to carry out

all aspects of Rigging and lifting training courses

either at our training offices or at the client’s

onsite premises, either in the UK or global

destinations. Fully trained and experienced

Appointed Persons, who will carry out site

surveys, produce detailed lifting plans, method

statements and risk assessments in accordance

with statutory regulations

Rigging & Lifting Supervisors, to ensure that all

lifting and rigging operations, regardless of their

size are carried out safely and to the agreed

methods. Overseeing the operations of riggers,

slingers and banksman.

We can also supply Site Management,

Supervision and Client Representation for any

project involving Rigging and Lifting. All our

personnel are experienced appointed persons,

Rigging Supervisors, Assessors and Instructors

with a vast knowledge of slinging and rigging

methods and many years’ experience working

on all types of rigging erection and lifting

operations both onshore and offshore.

SAFETY SUPERVISORS

Teesside rigging and lifting can supply

experienced site safety supervisors who are all

qualified up to NEBOSH level, with hands on

experience of rigging and scaffolding.

SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISORS AND TAG MAN

Teesside rigging and lifting can supply

experienced scaffolding supervisors and tag

men who can oversees the assembly and

disassembly of scaffolding as well as ensuring

the scaffolding is properly and safely assembled.

Work hand-in-hand with the site manager.

Estimate the total number of scaffolding

sections that will be required to complete a

job and arranges for the scaffolding to arrive

onsite. Along with the materials and the number

of employees that will be required onsite to

assemble the scaffolding. While the scaffolding

is being assembled, it is the responsibility of the

supervisor to ensure all safety standards are

adhered to. The supervisor is also responsible

for the timely breakdown and removal of the

scaffolding once the job has been completed
