Train for a Career in Phlebotomy Phlebotomists are trained individuals who can draw blood from a live person. During the course of this program you will learn the basic principles of venipuncture and lab procedures. We strive to provide the technical instruction and skill development to enable the students to become successful phlebotomists upon completion of the program. Our unique “hands on” learning experience allows our students to also obtain interpersonal skills essential for career success.

Schedule: Monday -Thursday 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Clinical times may vary depending on Clinical demand.
Length of Program: 218 Hour Program
Application Deadline: August 2, 2019
Start Date: September 3, 2019
Tuition: $995
Books: $65
Acceptance: Students will be accepted on first come first serve basis contingent upon completion of ALL checklist requirements.
Pre-requisite: High School Diploma or GED (documentation required)
Clinical sites require proof of medical insurance
If “male” between the ages of 18 and 26, I am providing documentation that I have registered with the Selective Service.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or lawful presence
(valid driver’s license, photo ID card, official birth certificate, etc.)
Other Fees: Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen, and Completed
Immunizations (approximate cost $231)
Certification Exam ($150)
Liability Insurance ($20)
Graduation Fee ($32.93)(optional)
Financial Aid: Financial aid (pell/lottery) is not available for this program, however you may check with your local Career Center.
Proof of the following Completed Immunizations are required before enrolling:
Varicella (Chickenpox) – Must show proof of 2 dates or Varicella Titer
Hepatitis B Series or Hepatitis Titer – Must show proof of 3 dates
T.B. Skin Test and Date – Negative or Positive (within the last year)
Tetanus
MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) – Must show proof of 2 dates
Flu Shot (within the last year)
(You should be able to go to your local health department for these immunizations.)
