Whether Refrigerated, Tarpaulin or Dry Freight Trailer – the SmartTrailer Will Always Be Worth-while!Comprehensive sensors, perfectly integrated – our proven TrailerConnect® telematics system has just got smarter. For you, as an operator, that means even greater operating convenience. You have the option of monitoring everything on a PC or an app and can immediately intervene, if you need to, should something not be right. The system is based on the third-generation CTU telematics unit. It is combined with TrailerConnect®

sensors, ROTOS running gear, Schmitz Cargobull transport refrigeration unit, to list but a few examples. You decide what you want your confi guration to look like. A number of systems are already included in the standard trailer, while all other systems can be added as optional extras.

TrailerConnect® control unitThe TrailerConnect® control unit is the heart of our telematics system. Thanks to its uni-versal uses for all types of trailers, it off ers more than just maximum fl exibility: it is also the fi rst telematics control unit with a soldered ‘SIM on chip’. The advantage compared to conventional SIM cards: no failures caused by contact problems. No roaming costs worldwide! Its concealed installation under the trailer provides safety and also protects it from being tampered with – the same also applies to the inte-grated GPS and GSM aerials. At the same time this also serves to optimise perfor-mance. Good to know: our simple and convenient diagnostics software ensures shorter installation and service times. A temperature recording function according to DIN EN 12830 is also integrated.

beSmart – Your New Trailer&Cargo ManagerThe beSmart app lets your drivers continu-ously monitor the status of the trailer and respond rapidly if they need to. An integrated WiFi module in your trailer provides for communication between the telematics control unit and a smartphone with push notifi cations. You’ll never again miss important news or messages.

Support and TrainingAs a full-service provider we are on hand with help and advice in addition to providing uncompromising hardware quality, and smart telematics services and portals. We train your employees, offer customer work-shops at your premises, integrate data into your system and are on hand as a contact throughout the entire service life of the trailer telematics system. Our Europe-wide service partner network will pay for itself should you wish to retrofit our telematics solution. On request, we will also train your own work-shop on the TrailerConnect® telematics system.
