Good news for all of our Dog Park fans. The access road to the future dog park is already in place. It was installed as part of the Trail Winds Recreation Center project. The news on the build out of the dog park itself is as follows: Construction documents for the future permanent dog park and the parking lot are completed. A contractor should be on board to build the project in early 2020. The dog park construction and the establishment of the surrounding native grasses should allow for the new dog park to be opened late spring/early summer 2020 (weather permitting). The dog park will have 4 ft. fencing around the perimeter and a 5 ft. fence that separates the two dog use areas (small and large dogs). Some of the dog park amenities include the following: parking lot, dog water fountains, shade shelters with a picnic table, benches & trash cans. Good news for all of our Dog Park fans. The access road to the future dog park is already in place. It was installed as part of the Trail Winds Recreation Center project.

The news on the build out of the dog park itself is as follows:

Construction documents for the future permanent dog park and the parking lot are completed.
