Museum Spring Opener

Following the May Business Meeting, Geneescorted us over to the museum to see the

antique motorcycle display he put together. The

display features 14 bikes from 12 differentmanufacturers. Its great to see member bikeslooking so good. Larger photos are available in the

OTC Forum Galleryand OTCsfacebookpage.

OVM Swap Meet and Show

This year OTC was invited to set up a memberbooth at the OVM Show. Shannon and I borrowed

an E-Z Up from Pat and staked claim to a spotnext to OVMs merchandise booth. OTC members

showing their bikes included Don Woodard with

his Moto Guzzi. Don won a First Place trophy for

the featured marque. This was this bikes firstshow appearance.

Tom Krise entered his Chief in the American

category, and as you can see, so did severalothers. The Chief is a very popular model.

May Meeting Minutes

Gene called the meeting to order at 2:16 pm on

May 14, 2011. The meeting was held at thePowerland Texaco Station.

Attendees: Doug McLaughlin, Pat & Carol Smith,

Tom Krise, Tom Ruttan, Gene Walker, Gary

Kelley, Don Woodard, Chuck Hodson, Jackie

Nonae, Terry & Norlene Wolbert, Jim Lancasterand Ben Beberness.

Correspondence/Business/Reports:

April's minutes were read and approved.

TomR presented the May financial report. Tomreported run registrations had started to come in

and two members renewed their membership.

Road Run 2012:

It was decided to discuss and select a location for

the 2012 National at our Business Meetingfollowing Tom's Ride and BBQ on June 11. Bringyour choice of location, accommodations and

possible ride routes. Dates for the 2012 National

are July 19~21.

Road Run 2011:

Oregon Trail Road RunRegistrationis open. The

AMCA group discount for The Oregon Garden

expires June 21. Make your reservations soon.

Check-in for the Silver and Chrome run is at theSilver Spur RV Park. Look for the E-Z Up as you

enter the RV Park Thursday afternoon. Ben and

Niki Beberness will sign you in, issue run packets

and help you complete the paperwork.

Options for Thursday dinner were discussed.

Several restaurants were suggested. Norlene

offered to prepare and serve Thursday dinner at

the RV Park. Gary took Norlene up on her offer.So, return to the RV Park following the Silver Falls

Loop shakedown ride Thursday. Friday lunch is at

the Pelican Brew Pub in Pacific City. Again, return

to the RV Park Friday evening for another culinarytreat prepared by Norlene. On Saturday, dinner is

a catered event at the RV Park by the Wooden
